As part of our ongoing wildfire preparedness program, the City is leading a full-scale wildfire evacuation exercise. We invite you to participate!
The exercise will begin at lower Deer Valley, with transit buses and participant vehicles staged in a simulated intermediate ‘safety zone.’ Participants will then be routed to a selected evacuation point outside the City.
Community participation is encouraged for residents to actively consider personal emergency plans, logistics, roles, and possible scenarios should an evacuation be required.
