About Curling at the Park City Ice ArenaThe sport of curling dates back to 16th century Scotland, although it wasn’t until the 1830’s that Scottish soldiers and settlers introduced the game to the United States. Since then, it has grown in popularity and became an official full-medal sport in the 1998 Winter Olympic Games in Nagano, Japan. Today, the U.S. is home to over 13,000 curlers and 135 curling clubs.
