About the League
Park City Ice Arena strives to provide adult league hockey opportunities for a wide range of skill levels. While we aim to offer leagues that meet the needs of our hockey community, league availability may vary based on registration and participation.
Our goal is to provide recreational hockey programs that are fun, safe, and welcoming while helping participants develop their skills, enjoy healthy competition, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship.
Achieving these goals requires every Park City Hockey League (PCHL) participant to play by the rules, treat fellow players, officials, scorekeepers, and Ice Arena staff with respect, and demonstrate good sportsmanship both on and off the ice.
League Divisions
Gold League – Our highest level of play. Players typically have significant competitive hockey experience, including recent high school, Tier I, junior, college (ACHA, AAU/NCHA, NCAA), or higher levels of play.
Gold League uses a team registration format. Each team is managed by a captain who is responsible for recruiting and maintaining the team roster, managing player fees, and serving as the primary point of contact with the league.
Silver League – An intermediate, competitive league. Players may have some competitive hockey experience, but it is often limited. Many participants are strong athletes from other sports who played youth hockey or began playing as adults and have developed solid hockey skills.
Silver League uses a team registration format. Each team is managed by a captain who is responsible for recruiting and maintaining the team roster, managing player fees, and serving as the primary point of contact with the league. All players require approval to promote an intermediate level of play.
Bronze League – Designed for beginners and players newer to the sport, with an emphasis on fun, learning, and skill development. Most players have little hockey experience. As players develop their skills and confidence, younger or more athletic players often progress to the Silver League. All players require approval to promote a beginner level of play.
Players register individually for Bronze League, and teams are drafted each season.
Ladies League – A recreational league designed to provide a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment for women of a variety of skill levels. The league emphasizes participation, skill development, fitness, and camaraderie while maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere. Generally, a beginner level of play, but all abilities welcome.
Ladies League typically runs from late spring through early fall. Players register individually, and one game is played each week. Teams are drafted each week based on player RSVPs to help create balanced, competitive games while providing the opportunity to play with a variety of teammates throughout the season.
