On January 27, 2026, Park City Mountain applied for two Conditional Use Permits to upgrade the Silverlode and Eagle lifts:

Upgrade the Silverlode lift from a six-passenger detachable to an eight-passenger detachable lift with the same approximate alignment with a lift storage and maintenance Building near the bottom terminal.

Replace the Eagle and Eaglet fixed-grip lifts with a six-passenger detachable lift in a new alignment with a mid-station unload.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the Planning Commission conducted a site visit and a work session.
On Wednesday, May 13, 2026, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the traffic, parking, and transportation components of the project (Meeting Agenda, Packet, and Meeting Recording).
On Wednesday, May 27, 2026, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and approved the lift upgrades (Meeting Agenda, Packet, and Meeting Recording).
On June 8, 2026, an appeal of the Planning Commission's decision was submitted. On July 16, 2026, the administrative hearing officer considered the appeal and on July 29, 2026, issued a decision denying the appeal.
