Five-Acre Site

The City owns what is known as the Five-Acre Site at the southwest corner of the Kearns Boulevard and Bonanza Drive intersection in the Bonanza Park neighborhood. On May 4, 2026, the City Council directed partner Brinshore Development to submit applications for Planning Commission review to redevelop the site with a mixed-use project, including:

  • 106 Residential Units
  • 32,581 Square Feet of Commercial Space
  • Community Green Space
  • Public Art Space
  • A Child Care Center
  • An Underground Parking Garage

On May 20, 2026, Brinshore Development submitted applications for Planning Commission review, including a Master Planned Development (PL-26-06914), Subdivision (PL-26-06920), Multi-Unit Dwelling and Frontage Protection Zone Conditional Use Permit (PL-26-06915), and Non-Profit Use Conditional Use Permit (PL-26-06917).

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the Planning Commission will conduct a site visit at 4:00 PM and an introductory work session in Council Chambers at 5:30 PM. Please note, while there will be no public hearing during this meeting the public may attend and listen, and public input may be submitted to planning@parkcity.gov.
