Big Cottonwood Canyon Shuttle
Are you coming to the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area from the Wasatch Front? Utah Open Lands operates a free shuttle.- Shuttle runs Fridays and Saturdays through September 27
- The shuttle operates between the Big Cottonwood Canyon Park and Ride in Cottonwood Heights and the Bloods Lake and Bonanza Flat Trailhead parking lots

Access by Car
There are three primary parking lots in the Bonanza Flat Conservation Area: Empire Pass, Bonanza Flat, and Bloods Lake. If you're driving, be prepared to pay for parking, respect posted no-parking restrictions, arrive early during peak periods, and expect parking lots to fill on busy weekends and holidays.- Parking Fees: Paid parking is in effect all hours when the road is open.
- Monday-Friday: $5.00/hour
- Saturday-Sunday: $8.00/hour
- Parking Cameras: Know before you go! Check the live parking cameras to see how busy the lots are and decide whether driving or taking transit is the best option for your trip.
- Parking Restrictions: Beginning in early August, parking will be restricted in certain locations to improve safety, support efficient transit service, reduce congestion, protect surrounding natural resources, and help reduce wildfire risk by preventing hot vehicles from parking on dry grass. Parking rules and regulations are enforced.
- Free Bonanza Flat Locals Parking Permit: Park City Municipal's Bonanza Flat Locals Parking Permit gives residents within Park City Municipal boundaries convenient access to the open space, as contributors to its preservation.
