Park City Municipal Old Town Post Office Box Subsidy Program

On September 17, 2020, as a result of Old Town's historic setting and unique geographical constraints, the Park City Council offered to subsidize a P.O. Box's annual cost for primary residents in Old Town*.

To be considered, the applicant must first pay for their Post Office box and then submit eligibility information to the City. Receipts for P.O. Box reimbursement must be submitted by August 1 for any P.O. Box purchases or renewals before June 30 of each year. The City will reimburse retroactively for up to two years.

For eligibility the following must be provided:

  • Documented proof of payment to the Post Office for the P.O. Box, including receipts that clearly display the P.O. Box number. Bank statements will not be accepted or considered.
  • Proof of primary residency. Only property tax bills or a valid lease will be accepted to qualify.
  • The P.O. Box expense should not exceed the current standard rate of $226.

*Note: Reimbursement may take up to 7-14 days to receive after approval and submission to City's Finance department.
