The Green Business program was initiated in 2016 by Recycle Utah. With new community partnerships, Park City helped revamp the program with new rigor, resources, transparency, and recognition to local businesses making progress on community goals of net-zero carbon and zero waste.  

Collaborative efforts with Recycle Utah, the Park City Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, the Park City Community Foundation, and Summit County Health Department bring new resources and recognition for local businesses to reduce environmental impacts and save money.  

By joining the program businesses gain access to instruction and available rebates on energy efficiency measures, water conservation, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable transportation, and tools for how to promote a thriving community.

All Park City businesses are eligible to join for free.
